March 2011 Brandon Scott . . . while influenced by his past experiences, has created a line that is entirely his own vision with unique and interesting design lines," writes Sade Strehlke at FashionForBreakfast.com. "As a writer who mainly focuses on women's fashions I thoroughly enjoyed watching his creative approach to his runway collection and REALLY loved his oversized leather bags. "
August 2010 The editors of TallDarkRoast.com publish an interview with Brandon Scott, delving into his creative process, likes and dislikes, heroes, and upcoming styles. Read the full interview on the site.
July 26, 2010 Fashion reporter Danny Chung writes in the New York Fashion Events Examiner, "LA brand B:SCOTT had distinctive outerwear pieces with side zips, double layers, and a hooded/drape outerwear piece. Not only that, but B:SCOTT showcased a line of leatherwares, like the grey/green duffle that instantly caught my eye." Danny Chung also has his own fashion blog, the modman.
June 2010 "There's a lot to like about B:SCOTT's spring collection, given its classic pieces embellished with just a touch of original flair. Traditional items like cardigans are fitted with leather elbow patches and inset suspender knits, fleeces are festooned with double mock hoodies, knit shawl sweaters come double-breasted or with black knitted arm bands, and denim jackets are outfitted with fleece sleeves for ease of movement and comfort. Nothing earthshaking, yet augmented with a perfectly pitched flair. Such as the Light Wool Plaid Mock Zip Jacket above, which is lined in a thin cotton shirting with an asymmetrical back insert and side chest zip pocket. Lost in a Supermarket has a good article on the Spring 2010 with lots of pics.
April 17, 2010 HG2, one of our best customers in Canada, posted a very interesting interview with Brandon Scott in their blog. His unique vision and ability to breathe new life into West Coast fashion is something that we think you will find impressive. Check it out."
April 2, 2010 "Scott treats his line of men's casualwear with the same amount of design seriousness as if he were measuring out a men's tailored suit. His Fall 2010 collection, shown on March 22 during Concept L.A. Fashion Week, was a sharp, high-end take on street style inspired by Japanese fashion and architecture," writes Rhea Cortado in ApparelNews.net's coverage of the show. There's also a very nice slideshow of the event.
March 23, 2010 Melissa Magsaysay, writing for the LA Times, had this to say about the B:SCOTT Fall 2010 Collection: "The most impressive point of the event was the B. Scott runway show. Designer Brandon Scott's line of well-tailored wool jackets, understated waxed denim pants and double shawl collar cardigans had a hip-hop edge and street sensibility and are ultimately what every guy wants to wear, not to mention a few stylish girls in the audience who expressed a desire to don the jackets in smaller sizes."
March 11, 2010 "The best thing to come out of SF State since...hmmmm " Our Fall 2010 Collection was recently featured in the San Francisco edition of thrillist.com.

February 20, 2010 B:SCOTT debuts at Deli, Pioneer Square, Seattle. Already a high-concept haberdashery boasting food-inspired shelving reclaimed from groceries and real delis, this mens/streetwear shop is upping its game w/ the addition of a small cold-storage-themed pop-up in the back that's separated from the rest of the store by a split vinyl curtain, wallpapered w/ pics of beef/lamb/chicken, and cooled by a loud industrial fan ("Go Smokestacks!"). The Freezer'll feature special clothing collections all hung on meat hooks, the first of which is B:SCOTT.

Vadit writes, "I recently had the opportunity to browse through the S/S 2010 collection as well as listen in on a phone interview with the designer himself. After hearing his perspective on design and witnessing his drive and dedication to the industry, I believe Scott has positioned himself to take the reins of West Coast menswear."
